We strive to ensure our volunteers are involved in all areas of the work that St Giles Trust do, are valued for their commitment and recognised for the extraordinary things they do for us. We simply couldn't do the work we do without them. We actively encourage people with criminal convictions to apply for work, both paid and voluntary at St Giles Trust. We ensure there are lots of chances for you to develop your skills and experience so that you are confident in helping our clients, we do this by providing a large range of related training.
Applying for volunteer roles:
The recruitment process to become a volunteer at St Giles Trust is very competitive, so we ask that you think extremely carefully about being able to commit for the required time before applying. We ask for a minimum commitment of 1 or 2 days per week for six months. Due to limited capacity we will not be able to provide a volunteer placement for every request we receive, our current waiting time is approximately 6-9 months.
