We have another trophy to add to our ever growing collection following the news that St Giles Trust has ranked at number 20 in the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to Work For list in 2016 in the Not for Profit category. St Giles Trust has featured in the Best Companies Top 100 ranking each year since 2009.

Our inclusion follows an independent survey of staff and volunteers at St Giles Trust in 2015 by workplace engagement specialists Best Companies.

St Giles Trust Chief Executive Rob Owen OBE said:

“There are 160,000 charities in the UK and thousands enter into this ranking. So to come in the top 100 is astounding. But to come 20th is something we can all be extremely proud of. It proves the value of giving people a second chance and demonstrates that they will not let you down.

He continued:

"St Giles Trust is a charity that thrives in working with the most complex and challenging people in society but with our support they are able to move their lives forward and break negative cycles. No-one is ever a lost cause.”

87% of St Giles Trust staff claimed we played an important role in their lives putting us fourth overall in this score. Other assets picked out by the judges include:

Leadership - the Senior Management Team are also assessed against our competencies and values in the same way as all other staff.

Personal growth - our Full Central Training Programme is available to all staff and volunteers.

Giving something back through helping disadvantaged people in the local community.
