For 55 years, St Giles Trust has been there to support the most disadvantaged people who often fall through the gaps. We are really proud of our achievements, but know we still have more to do. Help us continue our essential work for years to come so that together we will break the cycle of offending.
Leaving a gift in your will can ensure we are there for anyone who needs us for years to come. Gifts of all sizes are important for our future stability.
£1,000 will fund an SOS+ session. These sessions will reach hundreds of young people in schools or pupil referral units, teaching them the dangers of gangs. Our target is to deliver at least 100 SOS+ sessions in 2017.
£5,000 will pay for two young ex-offender volunteers to undertake the Level 3 in Advice and Guidance and a supported 6-month placement within St Giles Trust, which could lead to a paid role. Trainee caseworkers are our pipeline and key to our success.
£10,000 will part-fund a caseworker and team of volunteers to provide intensive casework for young people experiencing multiple barriers to education and employment. With your help, we will prevent the next generation being caught up in a life of family breakdown, crime and prison.
£20,000 will secure the continuation of our award-winning SOS gangs programme in West London for a year. This acts as a hub for all SOS activity across North West London.
We know that quick fix solutions do not help the most vulnerable people. Complex problems are not solved overnight. We want to improve people’s lives for good, not offer short-term help.
You can be part of the generation that leaves a better world for people who have no one else left to turn to. The legacy of your gift will have a lasting impact on such vulnerable lives. What we promise you:
Your loved ones come first. We will never try and change this.
Leaving a gift in your will is a big decision. We will help you as much as possible and will never pressure you.
If you would like your gift to be spent on a specific area, we will make sure this happens.
We are thankful for the compassion of anyone who leaves us a gift in their Will, whatever the value.
